Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connell Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes has chosen Calm Like a Bomb as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Bush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Connell Hayes! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayes misses with a hook. Bush ducked under it nicely. Bush tries for a takedown but Hayes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hayes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bush feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hayes tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hayes scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hayes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bush dodges the punch combination from Hayes.
A big right from Hayes misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hayes can't escape the position.
Hayes has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Hayes looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Hayes turns into Bush and is now in his guard.
Hayes is looking to work some ground and pound but Bush has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hayes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bush has Hayes pulled in close to control his posture. Hayes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bush trying to keep a closed guard but Hayes is proving a slippery customer.
Hayes wants to stand and escape but instead Bush has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush wants to control from the top but Hayes keeps moving. Bush is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hayes wants to sweep here but Bush controlling him for the moment. Hayes looking to control.
Bush controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bush stands up and waves to Hayes to follow him. Hayes looks gassed! Bush swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hayes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hayes dodges the punch combination from Bush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayes throws a hook but Bush blocks it. Bush doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hayes counters with a series of strikes. Bush will be more careful next time no doubt. Bush shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bush sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayes manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bush postures up in Hayes's guard and throws a big left but Hayes blocks it. Bush wants to control from the top but Hayes keeps moving. Hayes has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bush has passed into side control.
Bush trying to control the action but Hayes is working from the bottom. Bush stands up and we're back to a striking position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hayes doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bush counters with a single leg into guard. Hayes didn't expect that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Bush dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bush looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hayes! Bush wants to control the pace but Hayes is squirming around nicely. Hayes manages to regain half guard. Good work. Hayes tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Bush manages to move to mount!
Hayes tries to control Bush's body but Bush pushes him off. Hayes squirms to his side and now Bush has his back! Hayes turns into Bush and is now in his guard.
Bush working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hayes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hayes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hayes stands up over Bush, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bush keeping full guard, as Hayes tries to pass. Hayes is breathing heavily. Eric Bush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bush lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hayes! Bush pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hayes is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bush looking to control but Hayes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hayes swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Bush is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hayes is forced to tap! Great finish!
