Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Ry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rain Ask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rain Ask has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Ry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rain Ask! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Ask. Ask fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ry to the ground. Ask is now in Ry's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ask won't allow Ry to sweep him here. Ask got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ask has managed to get both his arms back between Ry's legs - danger averted. Ry trying to keep a closed guard but Ask is proving a slippery customer.
Ask lands a couple of digs. Ask won't allow Ry to sweep him here. Ask postures up.
Ry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ask on the ground. Ask stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ask wanted to stand there but Ry had control of the position. Ask is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ask trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ry's guard. Ask drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ask jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ry looking to control.
Ask controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ask wants to stand but Ry has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ask looking to pass the guard. Ask has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ry is proving hard to escape from. Ry on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ry tries to get out of the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ask darts in looking for a takedown but Ry gets double underhooks and turns Ask into the cage. Ry works on Ask's body with a couple of short punches. Ask looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ask is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ry is defending well. Andy Ry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rain Ask.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ask breaks the clinch.
Ry gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ask postures up.
Ry definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ask wants to stand and escape but instead Ry has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Ask looking for a sweep. Not yet Ask, not yet. Ry won't allow Ask to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ry throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ask works some decent striking defense from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ask working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ry. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ry trying to control the position from guard on top but Ask is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rain Ask dominated that round. That's time! Ry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ry gets caught flat footed, as Ask shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ask is looking to stand up but Ry won't let him. Ask lands a couple of elbows. Ask postures up and lands a big shot to Ry's brow. Ask trying to control the position from guard on top but Ry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ask looking to pass the guard. Ry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ask controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ask tries to free his leg and advance position but Ry is retaining full guard. Ry trying to control the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ask wanted to stand there but Ry had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rain Ask wasn't active enough on the ground. Ask shoots in but Ry avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ry pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Horrible takedown by Ry or perhaps it was just good defense by Ask which made him look bad. Ry fails to land the takedown. Ry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ask sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ry somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Ry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ask swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ry shoots in and drives through. Ask sprawls well. Ask shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ask winds up and cracks Ry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ask is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Ask is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ask passes to side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ask decides to stand back up. Ask displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ry. Andy Ry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ry scores with a jab to the head.
Ask clinches up against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ry stalling in the clinch but Ask improves position. Ry gets underhooks to prevent Ask's takedown attempt.
Ry decides to pull guard. Ask is looking to stand up but Ry won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rain Ask showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
A head kick from Ask lands but Ry takes it in his stride. Ry slaps away a takedown attempt from Ask, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ry shoots in looking for a takedown but Ask manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ry's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ask gets caught flat footed, as Ry shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ry avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ry won't allow Ask to get back to his feet. Ry is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ask looking for a sweep. Not yet Ask, not yet. Rain Ask has got the better of the ground game so far. Ry trying to control the position from guard on top but Ask is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ry stopping the sweep attempt from Ask.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ry throws a big elbow that misses.
Andy Ry has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ask misses with a takedown and Ry counters by moving into the clinch. Ry is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ask is defending well. Ask is working for takedown but Ry is calmly controlling the position for now. Andy Ry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rain Ask. Ry is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Rain Ask is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Ry is working for takedown but Ask is calmly controlling the position for now. Ry drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ask gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ask gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Ask content to stall in guard here. Ry has control of Ask's left arm, preventing Ask from doing any damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ask sitting in guard here, content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Rain Ask. I've got Ask winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
