Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorg Yeaksi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrik Voigl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henrik Voigl will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jorg Yeaksi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henrik Voigl! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Voigl throws a sloppy head kick and Yeaksi moves out of range easily. Voigl tries to keep at a distance but Yeaksi has taken the fight into the clinch. Voigl has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Yeaksi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A left hand lands to the body for Yeaksi.
Yeaksi pulls Voigl into guard.
Yeaksi is pulling down on Voigl's head to control his posture. Voigl stopping the sweep attempt from Yeaksi. Voigl has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at **CENTRUM GYM**. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Voigl really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yeaksi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Voigl looking to pass the guard. Yeaksi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Voigl wants to control from the top but Yeaksi keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Yeaksi shoots in looking for a takedown. Voigl tries to sprawl out of it but Yeaksi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Voigl manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yeaksi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Voigl throws an off balance right hand
and Yeaksi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Voigl's knee momentarily. Voigl wants to clinch. Voigl gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yeaksi to score an easy takedown into full guard. Yeaksi's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yeaksi pushes down on Voigl's leg and manages to get into half guard. Voigl is looking to escape. Yeaksi frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yeaksi looking to control and managing it successfully. Yeaksi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Voigl is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Yeaksi punishing his opponent with strikes. Voigl has left one of his arms exposed and Yeaksi doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Voigl screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
