Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Starstryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borat Sagdiyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cosmo Starstryder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Borat Sagdiyev! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starstryder misses with an uppercut. Sagdiyev saw that one coming. Sagdiyev moves into the clinch. Starstryder misses with a short punch on the inside. Starstryder struggles to land a body shot inside as Sagdiyev controls his hands.
Sagdiyev works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Starstryder wants to control but Sagdiyev passes easily into half guard.
Sagdiyev throwing shots but Starstryder is blocking nicely. Starstryder is not content to let Sagdiyev control the position. Starstryder avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sagdiyev. Starstryder moves into full guard.
Sagdiyev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sagdiyev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sagdiyev trying to control but Starstryder is working from the bottom. Sagdiyev postures up in Starstryder's guard and throws a big left but Starstryder blocks it. Sagdiyev trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Starstryder looking to control.
Sagdiyev drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Starstryder dives on top into guard. Starstryder trying to control but Sagdiyev is working from the bottom. Sagdiyev is looking for a triangle but Starstryder pushes his legs off easily.
Starstryder wants to control from the top but Sagdiyev keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cosmo Starstryder wasn't doing enough on the ground. Sagdiyev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Starstryder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sagdiyev is working away from the top position though. Starstryder is looking to escape. Sagdiyev wants to work for an arm triangle but Starstryder is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sagdiyev looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sagdiyev not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starstryder is looking to control Sagdiyev's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Starstryder avoid being mounted? Sagdiyev throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Starstryder wants to control but Sagdiyev is keeping busy.
Sagdiyev looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Starstryder is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sagdiyev's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sagdiyev's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Starstryder is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Sagdiyev trying to get back to his feet but Starstryder is in full control for now. Starstryder is trying to stick to Sagdiyev's back but Sagdiyev is turning into Starstryder. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Starstryder's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sagdiyev. Sagdiyev works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Starstryder manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Sagdiyev keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Starstryder can't find room to land a body shot as Sagdiyev controls the action.
Starstryder gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sagdiyev is trying to stand up here but Starstryder is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Borat Sagdiyev will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Starstryder takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Starstryder pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Starstryder lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Starstryder. Sagdiyev dodges the punch combination from Starstryder.
Cosmo Starstryder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Starstryder takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Starstryder is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sagdiyev. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sagdiyev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Starstryder can pounce on him.
Starstryder scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sagdiyev looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cosmo Starstryder overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sagdiyev keeping hold of Starstryder's head, controlling as best he can. Starstryder is looking to stall here but Sagdiyev recovers full guard. Sagdiyev is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Starstryder being controlled here momentarily. Starstryder throwing strikes but missing. Starstryder trying to control but Sagdiyev is working from the bottom. Sagdiyev wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sagdiyev is looking to stand back up but Starstryder counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sagdiyev. Sagdiyev is staying active underneath Starstryder, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Starstryder is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sagdiyev is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sagdiyev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Starstryder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sagdiyev tries to clinch but Starstryder moves out of range. Sagdiyev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sagdiyev takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nice takedown defense from Starstryder. No joy for Sagdiyev on that attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sagdiyev has hold of Starstryder's hands but Starstryder slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Sagdiyev is not content to let Starstryder control the position. Starstryder is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Starstryder tries to stand and escape but Sagdiyev is controlling the position. Starstryder wants to pass the guard but Sagdiyev is defending well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sagdiyev manages to escape and get back to his feet! Sagdiyev misses with a hook. Starstryder ducked under it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Starstryder trying to control but Sagdiyev is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sagdiyev manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Starstryder on his heels. He'll look to pass Starstryder's guard now, I'm sure. Sagdiyev takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Starstryder is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Starstryder looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Starstryder is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Sagdiyev is defending well though. Starstryder let's go of the attempt for now. Sagdiyev is looking to escape but he's done so without protecting himself and Starstryder manages to counter with a nice rear naked choke! Sagdiyev is in trouble and he's forced to tap!
