Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Doki Lakatos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakatos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Franklin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lakatos somewhat.
Franklin throws a sloppy head kick and Lakatos moves out of range easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Franklin.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lakatos wants to control but Franklin postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lakatos darts in looking for a takedown but Franklin gets double underhooks and turns Lakatos into the cage.

Franklin postures up in Lakatos's guard and throws a big left but Lakatos blocks it.

Franklin circles away from the clinch attempt
and Franklin counters with a head kick. That will keep Lakatos thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
