Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ean Kermode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Ivanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Ivanovich! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kermode stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kermode wants it to stay on the feet. Ivanovich with a poor takedown and Kermode counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ivanovich's knee momentarily. Ivanovich looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kermode! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kermode wants to control but Ivanovich postures up. Ivanovich should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kermode tries to improve position but can't. Kermode manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ivanovich is staying active underneath Kermode, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ivanovich has eaten all the pies! The fighters are battling for position here. Ivanovich manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ivanovich looking for a sweep. Not yet Ivanovich, not yet. Kermode wants to control from the top but Ivanovich keeps moving. Kermode has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ivanovich wants to sweep but no luck. Ivanovich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kermode avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ivanovich. Ivanovich thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kermode keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kermode avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ivanovich. Ivanovich drops an elbow to the side of Kermode's head. Kermode blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ivanovich. Ivanovich missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ivanovich misses with a head shot. Kermode uses the momentum to regain guard.

Ivanovich loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ivanovich wants to pass the guard but Kermode is keeping the position. Kermode is trying to keep Ivanovich in close.
Ivanovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kermode swivels though and keeps the full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ivanovich stands and throws Kermode's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kermode tries to buck Ivanovich off but Ivanovich is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivanovich working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Kermode struggling a bit here. Kermode takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Kermode taking punishment in the form of punches.
The strikes coming from Ivanovich are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Ivanovich postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ivanovich tries to score with some ground and pound. Kermode controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Ivanovich in side control, throwing shots but Kermode defends. Ivanovich working the ground and pound but Kermode is defending the strikes. Ivanovich looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Kermode is avoiding damage well.

Kermode tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ivanovich wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ivanovich throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Sloppy strikes there by Ivanovich. Kermode gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ivanovich cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ivanovich lands with some strikes. Ivanovich with a couple of short strikes. Kermode looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Ivanovich landing shots from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Ivanovich dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ivanovich misses with a takedown attempt and Kermode counters with a nice body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ivanovich. Ivanovich fails with the takedown. Ean Kermode has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Ivanovich. Kermode displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ivanovich. Kermode shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ivanovich manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kermode wants to control from the top but Ivanovich keeps moving. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kermode's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ivanovich landing strikes from the mount and Kermode is in trouble! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kermode tries to hold on but Ivanovich pushes him away. Ivanovich with the ground and pound from mount. Ivanovich prevents Kermode from getting the reversal. Kermode in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ivanovich in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ivanovich pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kermode on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kermode tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kermode takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Ivanovich dominating with strikes here. Kermode is looking to get to half guard. Kermode is in a horrible position here. Ivanovich smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Ivanovich! Kermode is out cold! This one is all over!
