The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopite misses with a double jab.
Kopite will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kopite swats away the attempt to clinch by Cobra.
Kopite throws a head kick but Cobra moves out of range.
Cobra shoots in and drives through. Kopite sprawls well.
Kopite tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cobra decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kopite's guard.
Kopite throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Kopite keeping moving, preventing Cobra from controlling successfully.

Cobra looks gassed!
Cobra postures up in Kopite's guard and throws a big left but Kopite blocks it.
Cobra passes Kopite's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kopite tries to get to full guard but Cobra has control of the leg.
Kopite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cobra on the ground.
Cobra prevents Kopite from standing back up.
Kopite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
No luck for Cobra with that takedown attempt.
Kopite lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Cobra is looking to close the distance but Kopite sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Cobra crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Cobra is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
