The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitzev darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Zaitzev into the cage.

Zaitzev is working for a guillotine from mount but Jones frees his head quite easily.

Zaitzev looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Zaitzev wants to finish this one by submission but Jones is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zaitzev.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Oh but Zaitzev is tightening it up a little... Jones has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jones reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jones taps out! Nice BJJ there by Zaitzev!
