Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Goranov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Goranov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goranov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Horrible takedown by Goranov or perhaps it was just good defense by Gordon which made him look bad.
Gordon's coach down at Cozad MMA Helsinki was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gordon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Goranov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Goranov jumps into guard, dragging Gordon to the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Goranov pulls Gordon in close to his closed guard and prevents Gordon from doing any damage or advancing position.
Goranov scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Gordon tries to keep at a distance but Goranov has taken the fight into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goranov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gordon tries to pull guard but Goranov holds him up against the cage and eventually Gordon drops back down to his feet.

Goranov presses Gordon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Goranov pulls Gordon into guard.
Gordon scoring with some ground and pound.
Goranov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gordon being controlled here momentarily.
Gordon wanted to stand there but Goranov had control of the position.
Goranov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gordon rolls with it to try and escape but Goranov cranks on the arm and Gordon is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
