The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries for a takedown but Rotten circles away easily
and Rotten counters with a left to the body.
Smith misses with a lunging right hand
and Rotten counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rotten counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rotten counters with a nice uppercut.
Smith is rocked!
Johnny Rotten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colton Smith.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Rotten finish him?
Smith looks winded!
Rotten throws a nice outside leg kick.
Smith leaves his chin hanging out and Rotten seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Smith crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
