Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Captain K nuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smith Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Captain K nuckles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Smith Wesson!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
K nuckles gets caught flat footed, as Wesson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
K nuckles throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Wesson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
K nuckles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No joy there for Wesson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wesson stuffs the takedown.
K nuckles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wesson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
K nuckles dodges the punch combination from Wesson.
That's one minute gone in the round.
K nuckles scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
K nuckles not landing any meaningful shots this time.
K nuckles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wesson keeps working.
Wesson is looking for a sweep. K nuckles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wesson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but K nuckles pulls his head out easily.
K nuckles wants to control but Wesson is keeping him busy.
Wesson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but K nuckles scores with a couple of nice shots.
Wesson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of K nuckles's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take K nuckles's back!
Wesson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. K nuckles knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften K nuckles for a finish.
Wesson looks gassed!
K nuckles trying to control the action but Wesson just sinks the hooks in.
Wesson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. K nuckles has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Wesson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! K nuckles taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Wesson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Smith Wesson!
