Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aviv gets a takedown into half guard.
Aviv prevents Hammersmith from standing back up.
Aviv content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammersmith tries to roll over but Aviv keeps him under control.
Hammersmith trying to hold on to Aviv's head to control him but Aviv postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Aviv stalling.
Hammersmith is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aviv Aviv dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Aviv tries for a takedown but Hammersmith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hammersmith tries to clinch up.
Hammersmith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Aviv shoots for a double leg takedown but Hammersmith sprawls well. He's pushed Aviv's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aviv with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hammersmith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aviv Aviv. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aviv tries for a takedown but Hammersmith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Aviv fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Aviv shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hammersmith counters by clinching up.
A left hand lands to the body for Hammersmith.
Hammersmith avoiding damage.
Aviv has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hammersmith is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hammersmith lands a hook that snaps the head of Aviv backwards.

Hammersmith prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hammersmith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aviv shoots and misses
and Hammersmith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hammersmith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hammersmith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hammersmith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aviv moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Aviv shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hammersmith counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Aviv is looking for a sweep. Hammersmith is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hammersmith stalling away here and it's allowed Aviv to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Hammersmith gets to his feet - Aviv follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hammersmith looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Aviv is positioning himself well to prevent Hammersmith advancing to mount.
Aviv is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hammersmith tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Aviv.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lester Hammersmith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Aviv's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Hammersmith instigates a clinch.
Aviv tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hammersmith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hammersmith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aviv swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hammersmith gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Aviv sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammersmith wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Aviv's hips, looking to push off. But Aviv grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Hammersmith screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
