Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Heng Keo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahti Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keo comes to the cage accompanied by Fear Factory - H-K (Hunter Killer). Sonni has chosen Aki & Turo - Mahtisonni - as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Heng Keo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mahti Sonni!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonni looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Keo is fending him off so far but Sonni persists. Nope, Keo circles away and we're back to standing.
Sonni throws a body punch but Keo moves out of range.
Sonni shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Keo sprawls well. Keo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sonni gets slowly back to his feet.
A big right from Sonni misses.
The crowd cheers as Keo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sonni doesn't seem phased though.
Sonni misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sonni gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sonni throws a shot from downtown. Keo moves away and avoids it.
Sonni misses with a looping left.
Sonni rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Keo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sonni throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sonni throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Keo counters with a nice uppercut.
Keo dives in and grabs Sonni's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sonni pushes down on Keo's head and hops out.
Keo keeps the fight on the outside.
Sonni stalks Keo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Keo's face. Keo staggers backwards, shaken.
Sonni wants to clinch up but Keo keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sonni misses with a lunging right hand
and Keo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Keo.
Sonni tries to stall but Keo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sonni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sonni fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sonni misses with a wild body shot.
Keo rushes Sonni and presses him up against the cage.
A short left from Keo.
Keo stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A right handed body shot lands from Keo.
Sonni taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Keo.
Keo is working Sonni over against the cage.
Sonni lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Keo lands on the inside with an uppercut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sonni goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nice elbow from Keo.
Keo avoids a wild elbow strike from Sonni.
Sonni throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Sonni throws a punch but it's blocked by Keo.
Keo lands a nice uppercut.
Sonni's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sonni.
Sonni lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Keo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Sonni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sonni trying to control the position from guard on top but Keo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sonni tries to free his leg and advance position but Keo is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sonni throws a big right hand that misses.
Sonni wants to pass the guard but Keo is keeping the position.
Keo is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sonni throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Keo's body to avoid the submission. Keo has instead reached around Sonni's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Keo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Heng Keo!
After winning the bout, Heng Keo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
