Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vladimir Nikolaev!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolaev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leonidas but Leonidas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That kick from Leonidas tenderised Nikolaev's leg. Nikolaev is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nikolaev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Leonidas misses with a kick to the body.

Achilles Leonidas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Nikolaev.

and Leonidas counters with a head kick that drops Nikolaev to the mat! Nikolaev scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Leonidas throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Nikolaev is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
