The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Penn.
Hyatt closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hyatt shoots in and drives through. Penn sprawls well.
Hyatt throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Penn to counter with a crisp jab.
Penn getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Penn misses with a head kick.
A nice combination there by Penn.
It looks like Roman Hyatt has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hyatt loads up on a big right hand but Penn slips the punch.
Penn listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hyatt drops his hands momentarily and Penn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hyatt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Penn lunges at Hyatt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hyatt's hand.

Penn throws a sloppy head kick and Hyatt moves out of range easily.

Penn throws a hook but Hyatt blocks it.

Hyatt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hyatt throws a big shot that misses.
Penn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hyatt manages to avoid it.
Penn misses with a kick to the body.
Hyatt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Penn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hyatt needs to keep his hands up - Penn had a free shot at his head there.
A right-left combo lands from Hyatt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Penn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hyatt.
A low kick from Hyatt is predictable there
and Penn counters with a good, hard body kick but Hyatt shrugs it off.

Penn throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The fighters circling - Hyatt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hyatt ducks under a wild hook from Penn.
Penn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hyatt thuds a left hand into Penn's body.
Penn looks winded!
Hyatt looks to land a combination but Penn avoids it well.
Penn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nathan Penn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hyatt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Penn but Penn pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hyatt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hyatt there as he acknowledges the shot.
Penn moves out of range as Hyatt strikes.
Hyatt misses with a series of wild punches.

Penn looks to land a combination but Hyatt avoids it well.
Hyatt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Penn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hyatt is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Penn's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Hyatt blocks a head kick by Penn.
Hyatt throws the left hand but Penn avoids the punch easily.
A big left from Penn misses.
Hyatt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Penn works over Hyatt's head and body with a nice combination.
Penn misses with a wild combination.
Penn misses with a double jab
and Hyatt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Penn takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hyatt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Penn.

Hyatt throws a head kick but Penn moves out of range.
Penn misses with an attempted mid kick.
Penn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Hyatt misses the target.
Penn will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Penn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nathan Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hyatt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Penn as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Hyatt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penn throws a series of punches but Hyatt moves out of range.
Hyatt scores with a nice head shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hyatt drops Penn with a naaaaasty hook - Penn is in real trouble here! Hyatt dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
