Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Antonio Sanchez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Antonio Sanchez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Carter!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sanchez is defended easily by Carter.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez.
Sanchez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carter.
Carter changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Carter scores with a nice head shot.
Sanchez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Carter. Carter obviously looking to wear him down.
Sloppy strikes from Carter. Those never looked like landing.
Sanchez looks to land a body kick but Carter moved away.
Carter misses with a hook. Sanchez ducked under it nicely.

Sanchez shoots in and bounces Carter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Carter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanchez is one step ahead there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter wants to stand and escape but Sanchez is having none of it.
Sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sanchez's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Carter rolls with it to try and escape but Sanchez cranks on the arm and Carter is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Antonio Sanchez really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements (q160) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
