Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Sniddlegrass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lashley comes to the cage accompanied by Hustlin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Lashley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Benjamin Sniddlegrass! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lashley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Luke Lashley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lashley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sniddlegrass under the eye. Lashley shoots in and drives through. Sniddlegrass sprawls well. Lashley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sniddlegrass wants to get back to his feet. Lashley is working for a submission of some sort.
Lashley is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Sniddlegrass wants to control but Lashley is keeping busy and won't allow it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lashley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lashley missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lashley tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sniddlegrass controls his leg. Lashley looks to land a strike but Sniddlegrass avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Sniddlegrass is looking to stand up but Lashley isn't so interested in that idea. Sniddlegrass is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lashley defends well. Lashley chips away with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lashley works over Sniddlegrass with some ground and pound from guard. We've been hearing good reports from Lashley's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Lashley prevents Sniddlegrass from getting back to his feet. Lashley throwing strikes from guard but Sniddlegrass blocks nicely. Sniddlegrass wants to get back to his feet but Lashley is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sniddlegrass looking to control.
Lashley lands a couple of digs. Lashley won't allow Sniddlegrass to sweep him here. Lashley with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Lashley distracts Sniddlegrass with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Lashley lands a couple of elbows. Lashley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sniddlegrass is rocked! Lashley makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Sniddlegrass is still in real trouble! Can Lashley finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lashley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sniddlegrass, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sniddlegrass moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lashley feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Sniddlegrass collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
