Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Navas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Sieler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron Sieler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fernando Navas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Sieler! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sieler throws a head kick but Navas moves out of range.
Sieler lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Navas chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sieler tries to land a front kick but Navas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sieler connects with a high kick. Navas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sieler. That did some damage! Sieler cracks a nice hook into Navas's ribs. Navas throws a sloppy head kick and Sieler moves out of range easily. A big left from Sieler misses. Sieler misses with a low kick.
Navas tries to bum rush Sieler with a series of wild strikes but Sieler uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sieler motions for Navas to come forward. Sieler throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Navas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sieler. Sieler fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sieler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Navas.
Some bone on bone action there as Sieler checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A head kick misses from Sieler. Navas defending well as Sieler loads up on a big left hand. Navas wants to clinch up but Sieler keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Navas misses with a straight right. Sieler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Navas. Good shot there by Sieler. Sieler on the wrong end of a nice jab. Navas tries to work over Sieler's front leg with a kick but Sieler checks it. Navas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Navas connects with a solid leg kick. Navas slips a jab from Sieler. Sieler swats away the attempt to clinch by Navas. Navas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sieler swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sieler swats away the attempt to clinch by Navas. Navas throws a sloppy head kick and Sieler moves out of range easily. Navas tries to close the distance and clinch but Sieler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sieler misses with a lunging right hand
and Navas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Navas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sieler paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sieler getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sieler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sieler throws a sloppy head kick and Navas moves out of range easily. Sieler tries a head kick but it misses.
Navas cracks the inside of Sieler's front leg. Navas throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A head kick by Sieler misses and Navas counters with a slapping leg kick. Navas cracks Sieler with an open hand slap. Navas checks a leg kick nicely. Sieler misses with a straight right. Ron Sieler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Navas avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sieler takes a swing at Navas's ribcage but misses. Sieler throws a head kick but Navas moves out of range.
Navas moves away from the strike by Sieler. Navas lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A swing and a miss from Sieler.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Navas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sieler has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sieler and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sieler moves out of range of the body kick. Navas throws a shot from downtown. Sieler moves away and avoids it. Sieler checks a low kick from Navas. Sieler misses the jab. Sieler darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Navas tries to clinch but Sieler moves out of range. Sieler closes the distance and clinches. Navas tries a knee to the head but Sieler blocks it.
Sieler creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Navas's defenses. Sieler crunches a lovely knee into Navas's ribcage. Navas tries a knee to the head but Sieler blocks it.
Sieler lands an elbow inside that Navas shrugs off. Sieler throws an elbow but it misses.
Navas stalling in the clinch but Sieler improves position. Sieler throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Sieler scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Navas throws a knee to the head but misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Navas unloads a knee to the mid-section. Navas blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sieler just misses with a elbow thrown towards Navas's brow. Navas looking to throw knees to the head but Sieler is blocking nicely.
Navas with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Sieler lands an uppercut. Navas misses with a shot to the kidneys.
I was talking to Navas's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Sieler pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Navas blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Navas misses with a knee strike.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Navas looking to throw knees to the head but Sieler is blocking nicely.

Sieler lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron Sieler dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Sieler ducks under a wild hook from Navas. Navas tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Navas is looking to score with low kicks. Sieler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sieler scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Navas staying out of range there. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sieler.
Sieler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Navas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Navas takes a body punch but keeps moving. Good work by Navas as he checks the leg kick. Navas is looking to slow Sieler down with leg kicks. Navas tries to score with a low kick but Sieler moves his leg out of the way. Navas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sieler connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Navas's hands. Navas has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sieler has thrown a lot of knees so far in this fight and we're lead to believe that's something he's been working on the gym prior to this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sieler lands an elbow that stopped Navas in his tracks for a moment. Navas trying to land knees to the body.

Sieler creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Navas's defenses. Sieler pushes Navas back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Navas is rocked! Sieler lands an elbow inside. Oh Navas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Navas looking to throw knees to the head but Sieler is blocking nicely.

Navas lands on the inside with an uppercut. Sieler taking a breather. Sieler lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Navas tries to land knees in the clinch but Sieler avoids the damage to the body. Sieler's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Navas misses with a knee to the head. Navas swings wildly with an uppercut but Sieler uses good head movement to avoid it. Navas takes an elbow to the temple. Sieler lands an elbow inside that Navas shrugs off. Sieler gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Sieler pushes down on Navas's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sieler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sieler passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Navas! Sieler has control of Navas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Navas regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Navas wants to hold on but Sieler pushes him away. Navas seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Navas is desperately trying to improve his position but Sieler has a good base and remains in mount. Sieler breaks from Navas's wrist control and lands an elbow. A big strike lands for Sieler! That's really hurt Navas and he's turned his back - Sieler keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Sieler jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ron Sieler! A relieved looking Ron Sieler thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
