Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konsta Pylkkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by Downstait - This Is My Life. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Konsta Pylkkanen!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pylkkanen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pylkkanen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Martin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pylkkanen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pylkkanen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Martin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pylkkanen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Martin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pylkkanen has managed to get both his arms back between Martin's legs - danger averted.
