Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Degen Gambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Copeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Copeland has chosen Avenged Sevenfold-Beast and the Harlot as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Degen Gambler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Copeland!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copeland pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gambler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Copeland moves away.
A slow jab from Gambler misses its intended target.
Copeland takes a body punch but keeps moving.

A head kick misses from Gambler.
Copeland fails with a takedown attempt.
Copeland looks to score with a jab to the body but Gambler is just out of range.

Copeland throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gambler tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Copeland is in Gambler's guard.

Copeland postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gambler is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Copeland, into his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Copeland is on top in guard.

Copeland wants to free his trapped foot but Gambler is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Jay Copeland showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gambler lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Copeland!

Copeland tries to lock up and control but Gambler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gambler has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Copeland's face.


It looks like Jay Copeland has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee warns Copeland that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Gambler prevents Copeland from getting the reversal.
Gambler cracks Copeland with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Copeland is bucking up trying to escape but Gambler cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


The cut above Jay Copeland's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jay Copeland's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Degen Gambler!
