Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoban Washburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dai Vernon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Washburn comes to the cage accompanied by Magic Carpet Ride. Vernon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernon lands a nice hook to Washburn's body. Washburn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vernon tries to land a leg kick but Washburn saw it coming and moves away.
Washburn shoots for a takedown but Vernon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vernon has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Washburn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vernon - the referee stops the clock and Washburn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vernon. Washburn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Washburn dives in for a single leg takedown but Vernon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Hoban Washburn will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Vernon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vernon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

I would just about give that final round to Dai Vernon.
