Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aljaybar Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Epi Fongua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fongua has chosen Funga Sia 'Ulise as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fongua swivels and escapes.
Fongua fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Samson shoots in but no luck this time.
Fongua fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Samson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fongua shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Samson sprawls well. Samson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fongua gets slowly back to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Samson breaks the clinch.
Fongua shoots for a takedown but Samson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Aljaybar Samson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Epi Fongua.

Fongua leaves Samson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Fongua moves in looking to clinch but Samson pushes him off.

Epi Fongua has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Fongua dives in for a single leg takedown but Samson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Fongua tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Samson smiles and moves away.
Fongua throws a right and a left that Samson avoids nicely.
Samson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fongua forces Samson back against the cage and clinches.
Fongua tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Samson avoids it.
Samson is trying to stall.
Fongua misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Samson.
Samson breaks the clinch.
Fongua shoots in for a double leg but Samson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Samson moves into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Samson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fongua's efforts to push away.
Fongua fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Epi Fongua dominated that round.

and Samson counters with a series of strikes. Fongua will be more careful next time no doubt.
Samson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fongua paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Samson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A clash of legs there as Samson blocks the low kick.
Fongua shoots in and drives through. Samson sprawls well.
Fongua keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Samson.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Samson lands a big head kick that sends Fongua tumbling to the mat! Samson takes a step backwards and waves Fongua back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Epi Fongua has been cut.
Samson doesn't manage to clinch there - Fongua circles away.
Fongua misses with a head kick.
Samson stuffs the takedown attempt from Fongua. Fongua gets slowly back to his feet.
Samson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Aljaybar Samson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fongua shoots in looking for a takedown but Samson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fongua's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fongua looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Samson lands a left and a right that send Fongua crashing to the mat, dazed. Samson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fongua is still on wobbly legs! Can Samson finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Samson lands a big head kick that sends Fongua to the canvas! Samson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
