PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Obi Ginobili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuo Mizoguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mizoguchi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kaneda's Theme. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ginobili closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mizoguchi to the mat! Mizoguchi manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mizoguchi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
