Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matiko Armenhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Dee Virus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cyrus Dee Virus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armenhammer wants to clinch up but Dee Virus keeps it at a distance.
Armenhammer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dee Virus had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Armenhammer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dee Virus Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Armenhammer's back instead.

Dee Virus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dee Virus tries a head kick but it misses.
Dee Virus swats away the attempt to clinch by Armenhammer.
Dee Virus shoots for a double leg takedown but Armenhammer sprawls well. He's pushed Dee Virus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Matiko Armenhammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyrus Dee Virus.

Well Dee Virus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
