Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Moses Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Atomic Dog - George Clinton as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Larry Davis! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malone throws a right and a left that both miss. Davis has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Malone is landing a low percentage of strikes. Malone tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Davis defends well and Malone ends up having to push Davis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Davis leaning his opponent against the cage. Davis successfully pulls guard.
Davis is looking for a triangle but Malone pushes his legs off easily.
Davis has his foot on Malone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Malone works his way back into a safe position though. Davis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Malone defends well. Malone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Malone trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Malone tries to free his leg and advance position but Davis is retaining full guard. Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Malone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Malone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Malone wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is trying to keep Malone in close.
Malone looking to pass the guard. Davis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Malone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davis swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Malone wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malone engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone pushing down on Davis's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Davis tries to get to full guard but Malone has control of the leg. Malone drops an elbow to the side of Davis's head. Malone not doing much here.
Malone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Malone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground. Malone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malone seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Davis has recovered full guard. Davis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Malone defends well. Davis keeping moving, preventing Malone from controlling successfully. Malone is posturing up here but Davis has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Malone tries to roll out but it's too tight and Malone has to tap! Slick submission there by Davis!
