Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb McIntosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Giant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Caleb McIntosh! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McIntosh swings for the body but Giant moves out of range.
McIntosh moves in looking to clinch but Giant pushes him off. McIntosh shoots for a double leg takedown but Giant sprawls well. He's pushed McIntosh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Giant fails to land with a series of punches.
Giant staying out of range there. McIntosh takes a swing at Giant's ribcage but misses. McIntosh throws a nice looking combination but Giant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. McIntosh doesn't manage to clinch there - Giant circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Giant as McIntosh shoots in. Giant keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The Giant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caleb McIntosh. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Giant looks to land a combination. McIntosh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Giant shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Giant closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Giant lands in his opponent's guard. Giant trying to control the position from guard on top but McIntosh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Giant has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

McIntosh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Giant's guard. Giant is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Giant trying to pass the guard but McIntosh defending well. McIntosh is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Giant scores with a couple of nice shots. McIntosh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Giant. Giant wants to pass the guard but McIntosh is defending well. Giant knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McIntosh on the ground. Giant missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Giant trying to control the action but McIntosh is working from the bottom. McIntosh tries to get to full guard but Giant has control of the leg. McIntosh wants to control but Giant is keeping busy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Giant looks to land a combination. McIntosh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Giant feints and as McIntosh raises his hands in defense, Giant changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McIntosh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Giant loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Giant stands up and waves to McIntosh to follow him. McIntosh looks gassed! Giant throws a sloppy head kick and McIntosh moves out of range easily. McIntosh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Caleb McIntosh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A good leg kick by McIntosh. Giant throws a shot to the body.
Giant swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McIntosh counters with a low kick, right behind Giant 's knee. Danga de danga de dang - Giant scores with a four punch combination!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Giant darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Giant throws a strike but McIntosh avoids it easily and moves to full guard. McIntosh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Giant manages to get himself to full guard.
McIntosh wants to get up but he can't break Giant's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McIntosh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Giant tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Giant dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
McIntosh misses with a takedown and McIntosh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McIntosh misses with a takedown and Giant counters with a straight punch to the midsection. McIntosh on the wrong end of a nice jab. McIntosh falls off balance throwing a combination

McIntosh is breathing heavily. Giant working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Giant seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. McIntosh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Giant. McIntosh is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Giant scores with a couple of nice shots. Giant trying to mount his opponent but McIntosh defends it. Giant is trying to control the action in half guard but McIntosh is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Giant is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McIntosh makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McIntosh. The Giant overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Giant prevents McIntosh from getting back to his feet. McIntosh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Giant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McIntosh works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Giant won't allow McIntosh to sweep him here. McIntosh is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Giant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McIntosh trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McIntosh wants to stand up but Giant is controlling him. Giant thows a big elbow that misses. McIntosh manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McIntosh landing punches. Giant is in all sorts of trouble here.
McIntosh breaks from Giant's wrist control and lands an elbow. A nice elbow there by McIntosh. Giant on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Giant tries to get out of the position. McIntosh raining down shots from the mount! McIntosh can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Giant is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Giant dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
A bone on bone clash there as McIntosh blocks the leg kick.
McIntosh misses with a takedown attempt and Giant counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McIntosh has his takedown stuffed and Giant counters with a two punch combo. Giant is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Giant lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McIntosh backs up against the cage.
McIntosh throws a low kick, looking for Giant's leg but Giant calmly moves out of range. McIntosh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Giant counters with a right hand to the body. McIntosh gets caught flat footed, as Giant shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Giant stops McIntosh from standing up. McIntosh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. McIntosh throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. McIntosh is trying to keep Giant in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The Giant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caleb McIntosh. Giant lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McIntosh backwards. McIntosh is stalling here.

Giant is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. McIntosh fails to pull guard.
McIntosh has had enough of the clinch but Giant keeps him there for the moment. McIntosh tries to pull guard but Giant won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. McIntosh works his way to full guard. Good work. McIntosh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

McIntosh looking for a sweep. Not yet McIntosh, not yet. McIntosh wants to get back to his feet but Giant is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Giant with a flurry of punches that miss. Caleb McIntosh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McIntosh looking for a guillotine here but Giant defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to The Giant. Well Giant has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
