Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikal Torgerson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amin Rubinstein! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubinstein lands a head kick. Torgerson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Torgerson throws a lazy uppercut
and Rubinstein moves into the clinch. Rubinstein lands a nice elbow.

Rubinstein has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Torgerson goes down! Rubinstein dives on top of him - Torgerson manages to get guard.

Mikal Torgerson's cut is getting worse. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rubinstein throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rubinstein throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Torgerson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Torgerson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rubinstein in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Torgerson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Torgerson keeping moving, preventing Rubinstein from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

 The ref stands the fighters back up. Mikal Torgerson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Torgerson throws a poor cross that misses
and Rubinstein holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Rubinstein obliges. Rubinstein lands an elbow just above Torgerson 's eye. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Rubinstein landing knees to the head.

Torgerson is breathing heavily. Rubinstein lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
