Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Gaskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaskins's entrance music is Killing In The Name Of. A fine choice. Bowman has chosen Dark Tranquillity - Misery's Crown as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman blocks a head kick by Gaskins.

Gaskins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gaskins feints a jab promting Bowman to slip. Gaskins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bowman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gaskins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Donald Gaskins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bowman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gaskins was well out of range. Poor timing from Bowman.

A lazy left from Gaskins finds it's target.

and Bowman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bowman.

Gaskins throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bowmans head.
Gaskins lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Bowman is leaning against Gaskins and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Gaskins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bowman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Gaskins throws a series of punches but Bowman avoids them all with ease.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gaskins clobbers Bowman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Donald Gaskins is winning the standup battle so far.
A punch combination from Bowman misses.
Gaskins throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bowman's head.
The fighters circling - Bowman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gaskins throws a leg kick which misses Bowman's front leg but catches the back leg as Bowman tries to avoid it.
Gaskins feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bowmans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bowman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gaskins lands a hook that stumbles Bowman back into the cage. Gaskins follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Bowman to the canvas! Gaskins pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Bowman has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
