The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aversa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Do Urden moves away.
Enrico Aversa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aversa throws a lazy right hand but Do Urden sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Aversa rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Do Urden counters with a good, hard body kick but Aversa shrugs it off.
Do Urden moves out of range as Aversa strikes.
Do Urden will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

It looks like Do Urden has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Aversa's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Do Urden counters with an outside leg kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Do Urden has Aversa pressed against the cage, preventing Aversa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
