Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heraclio Caro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Heraclio Caro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Justin Riggs! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Riggs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Check out the look on Riggs's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riggs controls the position. Riggs working the ground and pound. Caro is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caro manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Riggs prevents Caro from improving his position. Riggs working over Caro with some ground and pound. Caro looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Riggs takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Caro is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caro trying to hold on to Riggs's head to control him but Riggs postures up.
Riggs working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Caro on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Caro is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Riggs. Riggs working Caro over with strikes. Caro is looking to improve his position.
Riggs slows the pace down in half guard. Riggs throwing shots but Caro is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caro is trying to get back to full guard. Riggs trying to control the pace. Caro is trying to stand back up but Riggs is controlling him
Riggs lands strikes from half guard. Riggs lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Riggs in particular looking to stall. Caro trying to control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Riggs trying to advance position but Caro counters by regaining guard. Riggs seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Justin Riggs was stalling too much, according to the referee. Riggs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Riggs lands in his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Riggs cracks Caro with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Riggs dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Riggs bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Caro takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Riggs controlling the position from side mount. Caro is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs cracks Caro with a big elbow. Caro manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Caro working the head and body with strikes. Caro sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Riggs defending well though. Caro working Riggs over with strikes. Riggs preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Caro tries to stand and escape but Riggs is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs keeps control of the position for the meantime. Caro throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Caro has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Riggs defend it? Caro steps over the head and cranks it - Riggs is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Caro!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Heraclio Caro! Our winner, Heraclio Caro, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
