Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lunchmeat Sandwich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timoteo Belo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lunchmeat Sandwich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Timoteo Belo!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belo throws a body kick that misses.
Belo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Belo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sandwich.
Belo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Belo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sandwich checks the leg kick.
Sandwich throws a lazy right hand but Belo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sandwich slips a jab and a cross from Belo.
Sandwich throws a leg kick that is checked
and Belo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Belo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sandwich thows a left - swing and a miss!
Belo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Belo misses with a hook. Sandwich ducked under it nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Belo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Belo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sandwich checks it well.
Belo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Sandwich blocks a head kick by Belo.

Sandwich closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Belo quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sandwich is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Belo has managed to free his arm - good work.

Sandwich is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sandwich has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sandwich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Belo's head.

Sandwich is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Belo sees it coming and defends easily.
Sandwich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sandwich wants to pass the guard but Belo is defending well.
Sandwich wants to take a breather but Belo is having none of it.

Belo has one foot on Sandwich's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Belo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Belo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Belo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sandwich looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Belo drives through and clinches with Sandwich against the ropes.

Belo lands a damaging elbow.
Belo working Sandwich over with knees to the body.
Belo is pressed up against the ropes. Sandwich has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Belo down to the mat. Belo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sandwich fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Belo to the ground. Sandwich is now in Belo's guard.

Sandwich has gone for a leg lock! Belo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sandwich's guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Sandwich has his foot on Belo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Belo works his way back into a safe position though.

Sandwich has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Belo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sandwich is proving hard to escape from.

Sandwich had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Belo defends it easily.
Sandwich is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Belo throws a head kick but Sandwich moves out of range.
Timoteo Belo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sandwich gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Belo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sandwich shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Belo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Belo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Sandwich goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Belo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sandwich but great work by Belo.

Sandwich manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Belo is thwarting Sandwich's attempts to control the position.
Sandwich tries to roll over but Belo keeps him under control.
Sandwich is concentrating on defense, preventing Belo from advancing position.

Sandwich is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sandwich tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sandwich is pulling down on Belo's head to control his posture.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lunchmeat Sandwich will probably get the nod.
That's time! Sandwich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
