Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between B A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Langley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Langley.
Langley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Good exchange - A coming out on top.
Langley looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Langley looks to score with a jab to the body but A is just out of range.
Nice sprawl there from A as Langley shoots in.
B A has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Langley.
Langley pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lucas Langley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Langley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? A is fending him off so far but Langley persists. Nope, A circles away and we're back to standing.
Langley looks gassed!
Good leg kick by A there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A has managed to clinch.
Langley fails to pull the fight into his guard.

A ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. A no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
A looking to hit a scissor sweep but Langley is one step ahead there.
A controls Langley momentarily but Langley frees himself.
A lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Langley!
Langley should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

A jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Langley manages to avoid the submission attempt.

A tries for a kimura but Langley is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A decides to stand up, so the ref orders Langley to his feet.
Langley tries for a takedown but A sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A lands with a thumping leg kick.
Langley shoots in but A avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A is looking to slow Langley down with leg kicks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A telegraphed right hand from Langley misses the target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

B A dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



A has Langley up against the cage in a clinch.

A manages to break the clinch.
Langley takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A is looking to chop away at Langley's legs.
Langley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but A swivels and escapes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A throws a nice inside leg kick.
Langley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Langley is breathing heavily.

A shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Langley misses with a wild body shot.
Langley throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and A moves into the clinch.

A throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

A has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Langley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
A looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

A throws his legs up looking for a submission but Langley uses it to pass to side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Langley decides to stand up, so the ref orders A to his feet.
Langley misses with a takedown attempt

and A counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Langley!
B A has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Langley.
A lands a big elbow.

Langley is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. A locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Langley is forced to tap!
