Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonson's entrance music is bis das Blut gefriert. A fine choice. Savage comes into a darkened arena with his song building. the scatman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson catches Savage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jon Jonson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage circles away from the clinch attempt

and Savage counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Savage.

Jonson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Savage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jonson is looking to stand up but Savage isn't so interested in that idea.

Savage winds up and cracks Jonson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Savage seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Savage looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jonson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
