Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kid Mantuano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Lobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mantuano comes to the cage accompanied by Fight Night. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Mantuano checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mantuano shoots in and drives through. Lobe sprawls well.
Mantuano tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lobe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mantuano somewhat.
Lobe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mantuano is trying to defend but Lobe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lobe is looking for a kimura but Mantuano is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lobe to get the leverage.
Lobe tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mantuano knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lobe is working for a submission of some sort.
Mantuano gets back to full guard.
Lobe is sitting in close to Mantuano's body. Mantuano has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lobe is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lobe is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mantuano.
