The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conway stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Conway wants it to stay on the feet. Nice defenses there by Conway. Tessin misses the shot to the body. Conway looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tessin throws a leg kick that misses. Tessin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Check out the look on Tessin 's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Possibly, maybe, no Tessin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tessin postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Conway is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tessin is controlling him well. Tessin advances nicely into full mount. Tessin looking to ground and pound but Conway is blocking nicely. Conway wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Tessin .
Tessin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tessin wants to finish this one by submission but Conway is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tessin . Tessin punishing his opponent with strikes.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Conway can do anything to dispel that myth. Tessin has hold of Conway's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Conway manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee warns Conway that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Conway is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tessin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Conway uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tessin has time to react. Tessin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bentley Tessin dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Conway lands with a shot to the body. Bentley Tessin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tessin misses with a low kick.
Tessin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Tessin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Conway. Tessin shoots in for a double leg but Conway sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A bone on bone clash there as Conway blocks the leg kick.
Tessin goes for a double leg but Conway avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Conway continues to drive forward. Conway breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conway sizes up Tessin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Conway dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Conway rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tessin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tessin shoots in for a takedown but Conway shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bentley Tessin . That's going to take a lot out of him. Conway throws a right hand that Tessin ducks under and follows up with a left that Tessin also avoids with ease. Tessin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Tessin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Conway blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tessin . Tessin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bentley Tessin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bentley Tessin . Tessin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A momentary lapse in concentration from Conway enables Tessin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Conway manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Tessin 's corner is telling him to maintain position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bentley Tessin wasn't doing enough on the ground. Conway paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conway fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tessin manages to avoid it. Nice takedown defense from Conway. No joy for Tessin on that attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tessin . Tessin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tessin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Conway throws a one two combo.
Tam Conway has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
It looks like Bentley Tessin has been cut. Nice shot lands for Conway.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bentley Tessin . Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tessin , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
