Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryne shoots for a double leg takedown but Castillo sprawls well. He's pushed Ryne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Castillo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Still in half guard, Castillo seems content to control.
Castillo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Castillo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ryne with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ryne is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Castillo seems to be working for a kimura but Ryne defends the submission attempt.

Castillo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ryne quite badly. Ryne pulls Castillo in close trying to recover. Castillo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ryne on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ryne doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alfonso Castillo!
