Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richie Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Alexander is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richie Davies! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Alexander! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Davies's guard. Alexander trying to move into half guard but instead Davies has managed to sweep! Alexander throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Davies got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alexander has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davies has managed to get both his arms back between Alexander's legs - danger averted. Davies has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Davies wants to stand but Alexander has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Alexander looking for a sweep. Not yet Alexander, not yet. Alexander escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davies gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Alexander striking off his back but it's not causing Davies any problems. Alexander had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Davies defends it easily. Davies is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alexander can do anything to dispel that myth. Alexander is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davies got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alexander has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davies has managed to get both his arms back between Alexander's legs - danger averted. Alexander is pulling down on Davies's head. It's preventing any offense from Davies, at least for the moment. Davies stopping the sweep attempt from Alexander. Davies is looking to stand up but Alexander won't let him. Alexander has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alexander is on top in guard.
Alexander is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Davies wants to get back to his feet but Alexander is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Davies is breathing heavily. Alexander is standing up over Davies. Davies looks to escape but Alexander dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Alexander working the ground and pound. Alexander in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Davies is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Paul Alexander! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Paul Alexander made sure he mentioned GREEN!160, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
