Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Nevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ivey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Friday. Nevsky is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Remember The Name by Fort Minor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Ivey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Nevsky! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nevsky wants to clinch up but Ivey keeps it at a distance. Nevsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ivey. Nevsky needs to keep his hands up - Ivey had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Alexander Nevsky has been cut. Ivey swinging wildly here.
Nevsky motions for Ivey to come forward. Nevsky throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nevsky shoots in for a double leg but Ivey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ivey throws a hook but Nevsky avoids it easily. Nevsky shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nevsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ivey paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ivey scores with a body shot.
Good leg kick by Ivey there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ivey cracks Nevsky with a good jab. A head kick misses from Ivey. Nevsky shoots in for a double leg but Ivey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A big right from Nevsky misses. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ivey! Nevsky is out on his feet! Ivey rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Nevsky is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Nevsky is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil Ivey! Phil Ivey seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Alexander Nevsky spoke after the fight, saying 'Well ... what can I say ... my opponent was better than me tonight and congratulations for him! But I will come back strong and better prepared next time and put on a show for you guys !!!!'.
