Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Desperado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Sumrall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tito Desperado!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Desperado has managed to clinch.
Desperado scores a nice knee to the body.
Sumrall presses Desperado against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Desperado is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Desperado is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sumrall is defending well.
Sumrall lands a hook that snaps the head of Desperado backwards.
Sumrall lands a shot to the body.
Sumrall comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Tito Desperado has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Desperado drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Desperado.
Desperado is working for takedown but Sumrall is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sumrall working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Sumrall lands a good knee to the midsection. Desperado won't want to take too many of those.

Sumrall lands an elbow inside that Desperado shrugs off.
Sumrall gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Desperado.

Sumrall lands an elbow just above Desperado 's eye.
Desperado can't get the takedown.
Sumrall tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Desperado has Sumrall pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sumrall manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sumrall lands a damaging elbow.
Sumrall lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


That has opened up Tito Desperado's cut even more.
Sumrall creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Desperado's defenses.
Sumrall digs a right hand into Desperado's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Desperado's gas tank.
Sumrall lands a damaging elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Desperado takes an elbow to the forehead.

Tito Desperado's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Sumrall works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Sumrall pushes Desperado back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tito Desperado's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Pat Sumrall!
Pat Sumrall very nearly forgot to thank Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
