Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Christie McCross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Bloor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bloor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McCross fails with the takedown and Bloor counters by clinching up. McCross can't break the clinch.
McCross tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bloor's elbow. Bloor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. McCross manages to break the clinch.
Bloor swats away the attempt to clinch by McCross. McCross throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bloor throws a push kick but McCross slaps the foot to one side. A momentary lapse in concentration from McCross enables Bloor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McCross manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bloor is looking to stand up but McCross won't let him. Bloor advances to half guard. Bloor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McCross does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bloor is taking a breather. McCross says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bloor is trying to control the action in half guard but McCross is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jake Bloor hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Bloor gets the takedown into side control. McCross is pushing Bloor's head away, looking to escape. Bloor manages to hold on to the position though. Bloor wants to control but McCross is keeping him busy. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bloor has eaten all the pies! Bloor happy to just control the position for now. Bloor lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bloor works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. McCross pushes Bloor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bloor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. McCross can't do much from the bottom here. McCross is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bloor happy to just control the position for now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That's three minutes gone in the round. McCross being controlled for a moment. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bloor tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Bloor trying to control the action but McCross is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jake Bloor was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bloor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McCross paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bloor wants to clinch up but McCross keeps it at a distance. McCross tries to clinch up. Bloor shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McCross defends it nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bloor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McCross connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bloor scrambles back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Bloor dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McCross shoots in but no luck this time. McCross stuffs the takedown. Bloor takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bloor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCross as he avoids it easily. McCross really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McCross doesn't manage to clinch there - Bloor circles away.
Bloor swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McCross counters with a two punch combo. McCross fails in his attempt to clinch. McCross cracks Bloor with an open hand slap. McCross fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bloor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McCross dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bloor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bloor is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McCross makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McCross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bloor wants to control from the top but McCross keeps moving. McCross is looking to stand up but Bloor isn't so interested in that idea. Bloor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bloor preventing the sweep. Bloor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCross swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCross is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bloor is aware though and is defending well. McCross utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McCross will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bloor trying to control but McCross is working from the bottom. McCross is trying to control the position but Bloor postures up. McCross is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bloor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bloor looking to sit in guard and control but McCross gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bloor is pulling down on McCross's head. It's preventing any offense from McCross, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bloor wants to sweep here but McCross controlling him for the moment. Bloor keeps trying to improve his position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jake Bloor was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bloor throws a chopping leg kick but McCross manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bloor throws a head kick but McCross moves out of range.
McCross doesn't manage to clinch there - Bloor circles away.
Jab by McCross. McCross clinches up against the cage. Bloor looking to stall.
McCross keeps control of Bloor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. McCross goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bloor turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! McCross gets back to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCross is refusing to be controlled, as Bloor sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Christie McCross will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Bloor dives in and scores a takedown into McCross's guard. Bloor trying to control but McCross is working from the bottom. McCross manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bloor manages to get himself to full guard.
Bloor throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. McCross throwing strikes but missing. Bloor lands a decent punch to the body there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bloor keeping moving, preventing McCross from controlling successfully. McCross trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bloor's guard. McCross lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bloor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McCross stacks Bloor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McCross! Bloor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McCross trying to control the position but Bloor is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bloor regains half guard there - taking advantage of McCross's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. McCross is figuring out what he wants to do next. McCross wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bloor keeps working.

Christie McCross has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bloor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCross's waist but McCross gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bloor off to one side. Bloor tries to clinch but McCross is having none of it. Bloor has McCross up against the cage in a clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by McCross as Bloor tries to tie him up. McCross is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bloor is defending well for now. McCross tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bloor smiles and moves away.
Bloor looks to land a combination but McCross avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCross has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christie McCross. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bloor shoots in but McCross avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bloor throws a lazy head kick and McCross counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nice sprawl there from Bloor as McCross shoots in. McCross closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bloor being controlled for a moment. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McCross works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
