The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malek thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Brown if he has to take too many more of those.
Brown gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Brown on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Malek ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.
Brown avoids the body shot from Malek.
Malek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Malek lands a head kick!

It looks like Jim Brown has been cut.
Brown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Malek connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Malek pivots, looking for a leg kick but Brown is out of range and Malek settles back down.
A head kick misses from Brown.
Brown on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Malek changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Brown blocks a low kick nicely.
Brown shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Malek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Malek lands with a thumping leg kick.
Malek throws a chopping leg kick but Brown manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown tries to move into range but Malek moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jai Malek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Malek scores with a hook to the body. Brown takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Malek throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.
Malek scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Malek feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brown sprawling to the canvas! Brown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Malek finish him?!

Malek dances in with a quick combination. Brown is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Malek snaps Brown's head back. Brown stumbles backwards against the cage. Malek steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Brown's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Brown just didn't come prepared.
