Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Colbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dean Anderson!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colbert lands a body shot.
Anderson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Colbert throws a jab when Anderson was well out of range.
Anderson throws the kick towards the body but Colbert avoids it.
Colbert with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Anderson to score with a decent uppercut.
Colbert throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Colbert. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Anderson connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Colbert throws a hook to the side of Anderson's head but Anderson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Anderson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Anderson lands a really nice looking cross but Colbert seems unphased.
Anderson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Anderson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Anderson.

and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Colbert's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Colbert walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Anderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Colbert manages to avoid it.
Colbert tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Colbert.

We've been told by Colbert's head coaches at Philly Dawgz MMA - PIT Inc that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dean Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Colbert lands a big head kick that sends Anderson tumbling to the mat! Colbert takes a step backwards and waves Anderson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Colbert counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Cain Colbert very nearly forgot to thank TFP Graphics - Pit Inc amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
