Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between KJ Talley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cian McGarrity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGarrity is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Irish Fighting Song - We Come in Pieces. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGarrity avoids the body shot from Talley.
McGarrity takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Talley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGarrity.
McGarrity slips a straight right by Talley.
McGarrity looks to land a left hand but Talley moved out of range nicely.
Talley throws a head kick but McGarrity moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McGarrity has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McGarrity slips a straight right by Talley.
McGarrity takes a swing at Talley's ribcage but misses.
McGarrity lands with a cross.
McGarrity scores with a decent looking hook.
Talley throws a shot from downtown. McGarrity moves away and avoids it.
Cian McGarrity seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Talley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Talley throws a monster overhand right that drops McGarrity! Talley follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
