Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Clinton Ii Solidum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamir Buller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tamir Buller!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Solidum tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Buller is in Solidum's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Solidum keeping moving, preventing Buller from controlling successfully.
Solidum is trying to keep Buller in close.
Solidum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buller on the ground.
Solidum preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Buller has gone for a leg lock! Solidum slips out almost immediately though and dives into Buller's guard.

Solidum avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Buller tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Buller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Solidum gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Buller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Solidum gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Buller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Solidum defends well.

Solidum wants to control from the top but Buller keeps moving.

Buller working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Solidum has passed into half guard!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buller shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Solidum napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Buller is trying to get an arm triangle but Solidum is defending well.
Buller is trying to move to mount but Solidum reverses beautifully and ends up in Buller's guard.

Buller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Buller wants to sweep but no luck.
Solidum wants to control from the top but Buller keeps moving.
Solidum could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Solidum got a little sloppy there for a moment and Buller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Solidum has managed to get both his arms back between Buller's legs - danger averted.
Buller wants to control the position but Solidum says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Solidum perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Buller is looking to control Solidum's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buller avoid being mounted?
Buller wants to improve his position but Solidum is controlling well.

Buller tries to roll over but Solidum keeps him under control.

Tamir Buller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Buller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Solidum wants to control but Buller postures up.
Solidum on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Buller is trying to get an arm triangle but Solidum is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Solidum is not content to let Buller control the position.
Tamir Buller has got the better of the ground game so far.
Solidum can't do much from the bottom here.

Buller goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Solidum has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Buller but great work by Solidum.
Buller is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Buller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Solidum is trying to control the action in half guard but Buller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Buller is pressing down on Solidum's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Solidum trying to control but Buller is working from the bottom.
Buller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Solidum's guard.

Buller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Buller is stalling in the full guard.
Tamir Buller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tamir Buller hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Well Buller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
