The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osty lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Newhouse circles away quickly and effectively.
Osty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Newhouse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Osty throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A combination from Osty does no damage.
Osty throws a right and a left that Newhouse avoids nicely.

Osty falls off balance throwing a combination
and Newhouse counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Osty is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Newhouse has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Osty finds it's way round the side to connect with Newhouse's head.

A telegraphed right hand from Osty misses the target.
Osty throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Newhouse's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Osty dives in looking to finish as Newhouse flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Osty's strikes! Osty is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Newhouse's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Newhouse was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
