Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Osty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Newhouse! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osty lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Newhouse circles away quickly and effectively. Osty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Newhouse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Osty throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A combination from Osty does no damage. Osty throws a right and a left that Newhouse avoids nicely. Osty misses with a body shot.
Newhouse ducks under a wild hook from Osty. Osty throws a right and a left that both miss. Osty misses with the combination.
Danga de danga de dang - Osty scores with a four punch combination! Osty circles away from the clinch attempt.
James Osty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Newhouse looks winded! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Osty throws a right and a left that both miss. Newhouse doesn't manage to clinch there - Osty circles away.
Osty falls off balance throwing a combination
and Newhouse counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Osty is lucky that one didn't land flush. Osty throws a left and a right that both miss
and Newhouse finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Newhouse has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Osty finds it's way round the side to connect with Newhouse's head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Osty misses the target. Osty throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Newhouse's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Osty dives in looking to finish as Newhouse flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Osty's strikes! Osty is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Newhouse's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Newhouse was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Osty!
