The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laston dives in and scores a takedown into Anderson's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Laston working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Anderson trying to control the position.
Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Laston is one step ahead there.

Laston postures up in Anderson's guard and throws a big left but Anderson blocks it.

Josh Laston has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Laston closes the distance and pushes Anderson back into the cage.

Laston drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Anderson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Anderson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Laston is trying to drag Anderson to the mat but Anderson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Anderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Laston is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Laston is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laston has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Anderson!

Laston postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Anderson in real trouble here! The ref calls for Anderson to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
