Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raven Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tat Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas comes to the cage accompanied by Maniac. Taylor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Im on my Level. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Taylor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lucas avoids a kick to the body.
Taylor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Lucas is looking to take this one to the mat.
Taylor is trying to stall.
Taylor's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Taylor wants to pass the guard but Lucas is keeping the position.

Taylor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Lucas counters with a good low kick that Taylor was not able to check.

Taylor is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lucas is keeping busy.

Taylor gets tackled into the cage by Lucas. Lucas maintains the clinch.

Taylor tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lucas just stands there and leans against the cage.
Taylor is working for takedown but Lucas is calmly controlling the position for now.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lucas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Taylor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Taylor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Taylor is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Lucas presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
