The crowd seem to be enjoying Williams's choice of entrance music: P.O.D. - Boom. Alan Pitbull could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hype Williams's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hype Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitbull avoids the head kick by Williams.
Horrible takedown by Pitbull or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.
We've been hearing reports that Pitbull has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Williams tries to keep at a distance but Pitbull has taken the fight into the clinch.

Pitbull gets control of Williams's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pitbull will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Williams wanted to stand there but Pitbull had control of the position.
Williams is fighting to break Pitbull's control of his arms but Pitbull is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Pitbull is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Pitbull really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pitbull momentarily.
Pitbull fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Williams avoids it really well and circles away.

Williams is trying to control the position but Pitbull postures up.
Williams can't keep his opponent in guard - Pitbull advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pitbull seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Pitbull is trying to control. Williams wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pitbull will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Williams has one foot on Pitbull's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Williams throws a right hand that Pitbull ducks under and follows up with a left that Pitbull also avoids with ease.

Some bone on bone action there as Williams checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Williams is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Pitbull rather than just go for the knockout.

The fight stays on the outside here - Pitbull looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pitbull circles away quickly and effectively.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
