Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jok Cohen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Hamm!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hamm shoots in for a double leg but Cohen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Cohen closes the distance and pushes Hamm back into the cage.
Cohen lands a left hand.
Cohen working some nice short punches in the clinch.


It looks like Edward Hamm has been cut.
Cohen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Hamm's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Cohen scores with a shot to the side of Hamm's head.
Hamm working hard to break the clinch.
Cohen scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hamm wants to take the fight to the mat but Cohen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jok Cohen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Hamm.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hamm is trying to break the clinch but Cohen has him pressed against the cage.
Hamm tries to stall but Cohen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Cohen misses with a punch on the inside.
Cohen working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.


That has opened up Edward Hamm's cut even more.
Hamm looks winded!
Cohen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hamm backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hamm is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Hamm is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cohen is defending well.

Cohen drops Hamm onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Hamm is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Hamm is rocked!
Cohen swings wildly with an uppercut but Hamm uses good head movement to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cohen lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hamm is still on wobbly legs! Can Cohen finish him?


The cut above Edward Hamm's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Cohen misses with the head strike.
Hamm seems to have recovered his senses.
Cohen pushes Hamm back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cohen pushes Hamm against the cage. Cohen is working some dirty boxing. Cohen pushes off with a quick right hook! Hamm goes down! Hamm tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Cohen moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jok Cohen!
