Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Grand Prix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wrestling Beast! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grand Prix missing with a left hand there. Beast was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Beast has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Georges Grand Prix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grand Prix looking to score a takedown here. Beast is defending well but Grand Prix drives through and ends up in Beast's guard. Grand Prix seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beast escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grand Prix gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Grand Prix sitting in guard here, content to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Georges Grand Prix just wasn't active enough. Beast fails to land the takedown. Grand Prix tries to clinch up. Beast swinging wildly here.
Grand Prix throws a hook to the side of Beast's head but Beast sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Grand Prix throws a leg kick but Beast sees it coming and moves out of range. Grand Prix tries to bum rush Beast with a series of wild strikes but Beast uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Beast lands a jab to the head.
Beast getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Beast lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Grand Prix shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beast as he jumps to the side. Beast steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grand Prix. Grand Prix jabs Beast right on the nose. Beast blinks but takes it well.

Beast ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grand Prix misses with a looping left. Donk. Beast catches Grand Prix right on the button with a cross. Beast ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Grand Prix stuffs the takedown. Beast throws a hook to the side of Grand Prix's head but Grand Prix sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Grand Prix takes a swing at Beast's ribcage but misses. Beast throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

A combination from Beast does no damage. Beast rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grand Prix moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Beast fails with a takedown attempt. Georges Grand Prix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wrestling Beast. Beast shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Grand Prix counters with a two punch combo. Beast looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grand Prix throws a hook but Beast avoids it easily. Grand Prix throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Beast fails with the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Grand Prix as Beast shoots in. Beast uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Grand Prix.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Grand Prix misses the jab. No luck with that takedown attempt from Grand Prix. Grand Prix misses with a body kick. Beast avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Grand Prix takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Beast. Beast displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grand Prix throws out the jab. Grand Prix cracks Beast with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grand Prix misses with an uppercut. Beast shoots in for a takedown but Grand Prix shows good takedown defense. Beast dodges the punch combination from Grand Prix.

Beast fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grand Prix manages to avoid it. Beast throws a right and a left that Grand Prix avoids nicely. Grand Prix throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A swing and a miss from Grand Prix. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beast just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab from Grand Prix misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Grand Prix throws a hook but Beast blocks it. Grand Prix throws a hook to the side of Beast's head but Beast sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Beast fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Grand Prix loads up on a big right hand but Beast slips the punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Georges Grand Prix will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

He's pushed Beast's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Beast moves out of range of the body kick. Beast gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Grand Prix slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Beast working for a triangle but Grand Prix defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Grand Prix looks to score with a jab to the body but Beast is just out of range. Grand Prix closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Beast quickly recovers to half guard. Grand Prix lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Grand Prix is taking a breather. Beast says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Beast tries to roll over but Grand Prix keeps him under control. Grand Prix is controlling the pace.
Ground and pound from Grand Prix. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beast tries to get to full guard but Grand Prix has control of the leg. Grand Prix is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Grand Prix tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beast paws at him with a jab and circles away. Beast pivots, looking for a leg kick but Grand Prix is out of range and Beast settles back down. Beast rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grand Prix moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Grand Prix. Beast does a little dance to reset his feet. Grand Prix throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beast sees it coming and avoids it easily. A shot to the liver by Grand Prix. Beautiful body shot. Beast will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Georges Grand Prix dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Beast waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Grand Prix. Beast throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grand Prix's waist but Grand Prix gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beast off to one side. Grand Prix tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Beast manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Beast throws a hook but Grand Prix blocks it. Beast misses with a series of wild punches.
Grand Prix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Grand Prix scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Beast throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Nice strikes from Grand Prix there. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Grand Prix in particular looking to stall. Grand Prix seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Beast for as long as he can get away with. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Beast misses with an uppercut. Grand Prix saw that one coming. Beast checks a low kick from Grand Prix. Grand Prix misses with an uppercut. Beast shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Grand Prix sprawls well. Grand Prix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Beast gets slowly back to his feet. Grand Prix throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Beast tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Grand Prix is in Beast's guard. Grand Prix stands and throws Beast's legs to the side, diving into side control. Beast takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Grand Prix taking a breather here. Georges Grand Prix is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grand Prix is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Beast is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wrestling Beast has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beast is trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Georges Grand Prix showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grand Prix, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
